1300-Rated Player With 93–97% Accuracy in Most Games — Is This Normal?

Hi everyone,

I came across something unusual and wanted the community’s opinion.

I played a game against "MackieGaray" (rating ~1353). He beat me convincingly — no problem with that.
But when I checked his games, I noticed a strange pattern:

  • 70+ games with 93%+ accuracy (many hitting 96–99%)

  • But also several games with very low accuracy (50–60%) and quick losses

The accuracy swings between engine-like and very weak, which feels inconsistent for a 1300-rated player.

I’m not accusing him — just looking for objective thoughts.

Here is his profile if anyone wants to check:

If anyone else finds this suspicious, feel free to report it through Fair Play.

Thanks!

96+% for 1353 it is unreal without "assistance"

Yes, I think he is using an engine to get that type of accuracy and if you look at his/her games, than MackieGaray is usually always winning. I think he is either a grandmaster or using an engine. We should report him.
