3 losses in a row...

Hey all, 

I just had 3 losses in a row on Rapid. Can't break free from 200s. Any advice would be fantastic. Sorry for lack of info.

3 losses in a row isn't fun, but this is probably just normal variance. In rapid, you'll sometimes go on winning streaks or losing streaks and that can definitely last for 3 games or more. Blitz and bullet can go on losing streaks for longer easier!

Once you accept that variance is part of the process, then you can focus on learning and improvement, rather than chasing specific numbers. This will indirectly help you reach higher ratings long-term too.

That's not something new, I once had 10 lost games in a row, and I went from 2318 to ~2250 (something like that)

The advice is very simple: Don’t blunder all your pieces.
