I am a terrible player with black I trade pieces whenever i can and attempt to take tempo control whenever possible.  This in mind i know that a bishop is stronger than a knight in end game but I thought if you can gain a little time on white than a knight is just fine. (by the way I love the Dutch... this is my third post on it and all...) TRADE TRADE TRADE... and eh... maybe I'll win.

Why does white resign? It's his move. Can't with K-KKt3 he keep his king on his side of the pawns and draw? And a lot of these moves I didn't understand. It didn't look like the classical 'Dutch Defence' at all. (Although if given the White side, I'd play the Staunton gambit! ROFL)

it wasnt a classical dutch it was a dutch defence hopton attack variation. and to pick you're brain a liitle are you laughing because the Stauton Gambit would have faired better or because statistically black wins 41.8% instead of 28% of the time with that particular gambit?

Cloy,

When you post to a public forum, you'll get responses from the public.  If you don't want responses, don't post.  It's quite simple.   If you were really concerned with your benefit, perhaps you'd note the analysis of such a good player as tonydal and learn from it rather than being an a...

Perhaps a solid thank you should be said to Tonydal who is quite helpful by adding his expert opinion and analysis for free to every tom dick and harry who posts a game on this site.

I for one look forward to his analysis, as it's far more useful than my own!

Thanks Tony!
