F6 forking Q & N; best for White is to exchange Qs on g5, losing 2 more points, otherwise, RxN is next, down 3 more with space & attacking possibilities.

Hey guys!
I just watched and observed the whole game from my friend, who was defeated from the winning position.
When I analysed it thoroughly, I witnessed his biggest mistake as the position shown in the diagram. The opponent played Qg4, and my friend actually did not know what move to play, but I did, of course.
To be honest, do anyone knows what move my friend should play in this position shown? Please give me an exact solution with specific reasons and explanations.
