yes , self -analysis is possible . Botvinik did it . you can't analyse a game like GM just like that . it is a slow process . there are steps . you will start slow and if you persist then you will reach GM level in analysis ...
analysis

Available engines:
Stockfish 8, Stockfish 7, Stockfish 6, Komodo 9, Komodo 8, Critter 1.6a, Houdini 1.5a, Rybka 2.3.2a, Zappa 1.1, Zappa Mexico II, Fruit 2.2
You can just put smallfish or droidfish (free apps for ios and droid respectively) on your phone as well. They analyze single positions quite quickly and easily. They might do entire games at once, but I don't know how on smallfish (if it can do that at all). There are softwares to do entire games at once on the pc/mac, but a little more effort is involved to learn and get it going.
You can also complain since the totally free competitor to chess.com has a beautiful analysis feature (lichess.org) that does whole games at once.

Of course complete games can be analysed too, if there is considerable interest in it. In that case, just submit the PGN file. Otherwise the FEN string(s), for single position(s).
Since now deep analysis is not possible in gold membership as it has been removed, What are the other alternatives to analyse games without upgrading ? Is there any free software available which does it ? Also apart from computer analysis, can one also analyse by himself although he is an amateur ? If so, how to go about it ?
