Beating the Bird's Opening

This is a game I played recently against the Bird's opening.

Even though he played such a risky opening, my opponent was great at defending my initial attacks. Aside from his mistakes at 11. c3 and 15. Qxg5+, I think he played very well.

If you were in his position, what would you have done differently?

Wish I could see the board so I can give an opinion but all I see is a black featurless backround with no squares and missing black pawns..

Radrook: Hmm I see it perfectly. I wondr if anyone else is having this problem

CheckersBeatsChess: It was an online chess game, so there was virtually no time constraint.
