What do you work in Diakonia?

Lets say it involves fingerprints.

Hacking?

Most works I can think off do not involve your boss running around the office checking if you are working or on chess.com lol.

We have a very lenient work environment :-)

I don't really get your deal, kid. Why do you hate trading queens? Like, what the heck is actually wrong with trading queens? If you're playing like normal and continuing with your plan and he goes out of his way to trade queens, just trade queens with him, you will have developed your pieces and stuff while he has accomplished little to nothing

WELL, I've seen it before and it's not a big deal for me, but he doing it EVERYTIME annoys me.

Um, excuse me? I've played as a kid, been taught, and now I'm an expert. I've won MORE THAN HALF of my games.

My apologies, i thought you were lookng for help.  But after reading your other posts here, i see, youre only interested in: bragging, lying to yourself about how good you are, and insulting your opponents.

Let me know when youre serious about improving.

I AM asking for help. Assuming just breaks others' feelings.

Get good at endgames. Then anyone who goes for even trades against you will be playing right into your hands.

@CHT192: Fair enough. You may be the best player in your school, but that's because almost all "casuals" are sub-800 patzers. (The one exception to this rule is a math teacher who I think plays at a good 1200 level.)

But you are no expert.

I played an OTB rapid game against an Expert a week ago. If you want, I'll post it so you can see what Expert-level play looks like in a rapid game on a bad day.

*Ehem* Yes, everyone loses, and what? I've defeated 3 of my matched opponents, one being a teacher.

Good suggestion. In fact, I'm reviewing endgame lessons.

Bragging, huh? How are you sure? =)

Just a word on the "You are no expert" comment:

In chess, the word "Expert" has a very specific denotation... it refers to a player rated between 2000 and 2199.

I'm an Expert. You are probably a Class player (rated under 2000).

This thread is asinine!  There's a simple solution (barring immediate tactics).  If his queen is active, and yours is passive, or if you have a space disadvantage, let him trade!  It only helps you!

If your queen is more active than his, or if you have a huge space advantage and he is suffocating, don't trade!  Move away!

Qxd1/d8 cases are usually no good for the one initiating the trade.  If the Rook is connected, you develop my Rook for me.  If not, and I have to do King takes, then following up with c3 and Kc2 (or c6 and Kc7) with no queens on the board and I'm totally safe and my opponent has no advantage at all!

You need to study ideas on when to liquidate and when not to.  Forget about the Queen!  She's only 1 of 16 pieces you have.  Look at the big picture.  The actual position!

You're right. And good idea.

@CHT192:

And I bet you dollars to donuts said teacher is also a patzer.

Moving the Knight so that I don't have to worry about a Queen Trade.

Ay cht ya boi's here better delete that message where you called him a fool

chess_jawa

You would rather hang your knight than trade queens? I am not an expert, so I wouldn't know, but that doesn't seem very smart.

patr1cio4
I'm the one who likes to trade my queen so I think that the people have their own strategy to play. I just play my game with my own strategy and is not my problem if CHT192 don't have some strategy to beat me, so just let me play my game a just play your game, I just play by time of fun
patr1cio4
I don't see any problem

Yes, you can! In this position, for instance...
