Club game

I've played a club game, and I would like to analyse it. How can I easily do this? Where can I get the software for free?

And also, tell me what you think of the game. I think I still made a couple of mistakes, but I'm not sure. Move 13 and 14 are a bit passive. I think I should've played more active moves after sacrificing that pawn for tempo. What do you guys think?

Here it is:

any help will be appreciated

ow I missed something. move 23. Re2 is also weak, because the rook is in my way already 1 move later.

Also black screwed it up a bit in the end. Could he have done something else? Would I still win I he had done something else?

Care to add your thoughts regarding your moves at the time you made them? Sometimes we make the right moves for the wrong reasons and vice-versa.

ok good idea, that'll make things easier. I'll do it tomorrow when I have the time for it

sorry I still had no time posting the ideas behind the moves

Meanwhile, I've played another game:

You have three options if you want to analyze your games:

1) By yourself

2) With a coach/ friend/opponent etc

3) With a computer ( If you have the money Fritz is generally considered good for this, though I have never used it so I can't really recommend it)

I don't know of any free software though for a small price you can use the computer analyses feature here at CHESScom. Computer analyses is generally frowned upon as being " Passive" and not very useful for improvement. When analysing with a friend or computer make sure to participate actively yourself; don't sit back and let them do the work for you.

@Noobiest

I've edited the first game, adding comments on some of the moves

I did the same with my other game:)

Here's a new one for this week. I will add more comments about the ideas of the moves later. I really liked this game, even though I started it a bit passive and also I lost some tempo in the middle game by placing my pieces wrong (e.g.the rook on the 2nd line) and having them to retreat to the file they came from. I got under pressure the whole game, until move 29 or so, but then the game turned around suddenly, and I won 7 turns later.
