Complex but flawed game

I know I made quite a few errors , and my attack was wrong but it seemed that it was tricky enough for my opponent not to refute it . Comments appreciated .

23. Rxh3! would have won the game there and then.

23.  ...Rxh3    24. gxh3 Qxh3 25.Nxe5+ Bxe5 26. f4 Bxf4 27. Kf2 Qg3+ is the best line of defence which at least captures the white Queen

23. ... Rxh3! is a good move indeed. Fritz evaluates -0.7 after 5 minutes of thinking.

Good game, I think that your friends passive moves added up to you being able to take control, way to capitalize!

Thank you :) I think I just got lucky though . Though it is impossible to win a game without your opponent making a mistake

Can you provide the board version of this move sequence?  I feel there is a better sequence, but I want to visually make sure I understand this in detail before I make my input.

 Best line for white is 25. Nh2 as 25. Nxe5+ Nxe5 26. f4 Qh1+ 27. Kf2 Rh2+ 28. Kg3 gxf4+ 29. Bxf4 Bh4# (or 29. Kxf4 Qf3#)

Watching your development and comments, I'd like to refer to 6.c3 I see that you were expecting white to go to d4, and when he pushed b4 you recognized a flaw in his development. The 9.a4 advance was also premature as you suggested. The 11.Qb3, the one that surprised you, why did you dismiss d6-d5? The exchange leaves you in command of the center. white's queen and undeveloped pieces cramped in the corner, while you enjoy good mobility. your assessment was dead on, until you thought you had overlooked something. You know that *oh sh#t* moment that we all get. trust your judgement.

Quick impression :

- if you intend to reply with Be7 to his c3 move, why not play 3...Be7 in the first place ? looks like it wins a tempo

-  19...Kg6 looks risky, but it's original and worked well

- after 24...g4 I think your position is much better, thanks to your attack on his king

"The only move which allows for an equal but still just slightly winning game for white"

That's poetry, man.
