On move 7 there was no need to take your queen back.You could have just taken the g6 pawn.Knight was immune because h7 pawn was pinned to the rook.
So 7.Nxg6 would have been much better.If 7..hxg6 then 8.Qxh8.

@jitesh true true i didnt see that but i wanted the knight to stick where it was cut off the exits for the king. Looking at it now yea i should have and at least that would have sacked out the rook and meant i didn't have a trapped queen and maybe allowed me to move my other knight up to pressure his queen early and then maybe place check. Although tbh i stand by it, it was really me missing the whole move ten fiasco that maybe cost me the game
I just made a dumb mistake and paid for it. I'm so ashamed
