Game Review Missing Important Sequences

The "Game Review" function, while often very helpful in pointing out immediate errors or blunders, appears to miss some continuations that it really should pick up.

Game in question:

Position in question (moves 24 through 27):

At that point white has 28. Qg4+, which gains a tempo to play 29.f3 and save the bishop.

(Yes, I know I missed 26. Qf5, which is much better and avoids this whole problem, but that isn't the point.)

What the Game Review keeps missing (and I missed initially) is that 27...Rbe8 does win white's bishop. At that point the chess.com engine puts white up by half a point at best (due to all the passed pawns). But it seems very tricky to convert that to anything tangible, and it looks like it could easily end up a draw. (If I play through with the chess.com engine, it usually does end up at 0.0 evaluation.)

My point here is that it is hard to know what positions to study further when critical moves like that are completely glossed over by the Game Review, and it would be much more helpful if Game Review always found the same moves as the better engines.

I understand I can't expect Game Review to be perfect, but the chess.com engine (used when analyzing the game) is able to find the 27...Rbe8 continuation at depth 18, without much trouble. So why is it that the Game Review function misses that move when the default depth is also 18? And does anyone have any insight as to why those could be different?
