I'm having the exact same frustration.
It sadly seems like this might be considered an 'improvement' by chess.com but they have made it so much harder to review games efficiently.
I'm very annoyed by this too, the lack of customisation is aggravating. One size does not fit all.
To review a game I click the cog wheel icon at the upper right side of the chessboard, select Interface, and choose Review. In the same settings, since very recently the button ' Show Played And Best Moves Bubbles' has disappeared , whereas the button 'Show Best Move'is available.
That means you cannot scroll down on the speech bubble to switch between your move and the best move. To see the best move, you have to click 'Best' under the speech bubble to view the best move. This is very annoying.
