Need Help Analyzing My Game

I basically annoted and comment the game and ask questions in the annotation, so please check it out so you can know what i want analyzed or which position i need help with to understand and ultimately to help me improve my chess skill/ability/understanding..

I don't have fritz or rybka and i cannot use the chess.com analysis since i have already used it up this week i think, so anyone who could also comment and provide analysis(computer or not) at any interesting parts of the game would be welcome. I am white, and i am just looking to improve my game by going over it with others. I had lost 2 games to the same guy before this one, so i am somewhat proud of beating this 1900 guy when i am 1600 only. hehe..

Thanks in advance guys.

My losses are also on time, and are clear blunders also. But those i can recognize myself. If you wish to comment on them, you're welcome. Also, this game had more interesting lines that i wanted analyzed(like Bxg6 etc) to see if they were sound or not.

And what, his mass blunders are all on time, and mine aren't? His opening is also crap because he was low on time? If anything, it's more likely he felt sorry for me after beating me 2 games and was disrespecting me(can't see any other reason for such a shitty opening) and not taking this game as serious as he should have.

Thanks for the comments guys, keep them coming if you can.

You can do what you like, for whatever reason you like. I just wanted analysis at certain keypoints/positions, and this game had a lot of them since it was so wild, and this guy is rated quite a bit higher than me(he's my highest win to be exact, so forgive me for being happy). I'm not saying i'm better than him or whatever, or trying to make myself look good(chess pro) on these forums. Anyone can click on my nick and look at my previous games/losses. But keep trolling dude, like you always do.

@Blackadder

Your analysis was much appreciated. That kind of response is always a pleasure to go over. Thanks again dude, and i hope this message reaches you and you continue to commentate and give analysis in future.

I especially liked your 'risky' comment about Bxg6. That was the point though, of playing Qh5. I thought that if i pulled back there, it would somehow be 'unprincipled' and definitely cowardly lol(i had something like that in mind when playing e5 and Bd3, so you could call that 'bias' or a positional blindspot). But yeah, objectively, i had thought about Qe2 at the time and also considered it to be a better move, but by that time i had only a few minutes left and thought i would rather go for something 'risky' than playing objectively 'best' moves, which did not do me any favours in our previous 2 games :p

I looked at this game; but it's hard for me to make suggestions when your opponent was (for whatever reason) playing like a novice. His moves are totally uncharacteristic with the rating, and leads me to think that either your opponent was extremely drunk or high while playing, or someone elso may have been using his handle to play this game (someone who knows very little about chess strategy).

If this is a significant degradation of MexicoJz's style of play in his other games, my other suspicion is that maybe he has been using a chess engine on other games and decided to play this one without cheating. Nonetheless, here's what I noted in my view of your game:

16. Nce2 or Nde2 (Either move would have protected the other knight and added an extra layer of protection to the f4 pawn.

24. Qg6+ would have forced black to play either Kd8 or Rd7.

34. ... Qxc3 ??? This wasn't your move; but, as if black's game wasn't suicidal enough already, HE had to throw his queen under the bus!

Please  don't take this the wrong way; but your total endgame was very loosely played; but, I do understand given the time constraints you were under. It seems that MexicoJz was just annoying you to the point of forcing a draw or something.

Anyways, thanks for sharing. Cheers!

You were right! It seems like his account got banned for cheating.. that kind of sucks, since that means i didn't really beat a 1950 rated player. just some noobie who didn't use his engine anymore.  :(

The other two games i played him didn't feel like an engine however.. unless it was a very weak one -_-

Anyway, thanks for all the comments and analysis guys. Even if he was cheating in this, it was still instructional and i improved my game as a result. He's the only one who loses here, since he learnt nothing, wasted his time, and got his account banned/removed. Die Cheater! And it's good to see that chess.com has good anti cheat programs in place.
