This comment is not at all useful. A beginner would be more interested in the ideas than the bunch of moves from the comp analysis.

Game analysis:

#1 you have lost a pawn unnecessarily by playing b5. Pawns are very valuable as the game progresses, and when they reach the 8the rank they get promoted. Keep a watch out for weak pawns and do not move pawns unnecessarily.

#2 Also remember, in general, the idea behind most openings is to connect the two rooks quickly, which is achieved by moving the pieces out from the original square and castling. So, applying this theory, your move Nfxd7 was a mistake and Nbxd7 was the correct move.

#3 In general, it is said that one should not move the same piece/pawn in the opening. Notice that you moved your knight from to f6->d7->e5 only to be taken by the opponents knight. Your corect move should be to castle on king side (refer #2)

#4 Before going for an all out attack, get all your pieces you need. Its like having all your ingredients before you start cooking! You tried to attack his king, but were short of one rook. For eg: on move 20, you played f6 further weaking your king side. your right idea should be to move king to d7, get your rook to b8 and start pushing your pawn and break his pawn structure.

Hope this helps!

You came out the opening pretty well, despite a few slips (such as playing b5 before castling and some unnecessary moves such as 11...Rg8). I agree with tonydal in that at move 20 you have a very promising attack - where you went wrong was first not to use all your forces - the rook stayed entombed at g8 until it was too late. Furthermore, with 20...f6 and 21...g5, you got distracted, trying to trap the bishop (I assume), when the real action was happening on the queenside. The fact that your king was still in the centre worsened the idea of opening up the kingside, as the white queen was then able to be a source of considerable irritation.

However, to continue the attack, I think there were a few plans - firstly, double the rooks on the a-file, and tie down white's defenders. I also liked playing b5 (by the time you got it in, it was too late) and prising open the b-file.

As for the ending, rooks can usually overcome 3 pawns (provided that they are before the 6th rank) but 5 (and supported by the king) was a bit too much! Nevertheless, you played well and had a good position, before losing it - a situation I can definitely empathise with!
