@E9r0pe I guess that is true but if you don’t take the bishop you still will probably get checkmated either way, also a bunch of brilliants I have seen are not forcing or don’t have to be taken. For example: https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/daily/398525439 (this is not my game btw) he got a brilliant for the move kf1 on move 33 for sacrificing the queen, but the queen doesn’t have to be taken at all.
How is this not a brilliant??

If you're absolutely annihilating your opponent, to the point that a sacrifice going wrong would still have you winning, don't expect a brilliant.
On the other hand, if you'd be quite screwed if you don't know what you're doing, expect a brilliant.
