Well, yeah, Qd7 would have been bad, however, since white gave soooo much material already, instead of Qxb3, just hxg5. if bxa4 captures the queen, Nhg3, black is fine both materially and positionally, and white's attack is too slow (h6 Rh7). white is not guaranteed to win this by any means.
