I still fail to see how playing anything else than retreating the bishop at move 6 does not lose material. 6.Bxe5 Rxb4 7.Bxc7 Rc8 8.d6 Qe6 just does not work.
White has a positional advantage with more active pieces and control of the white squares. Black may want to play 12 ... h5 followed by ... Bh6 to improve his worst piece. With that in mind I suggest 13. g4 to prevent both ... h5 and ... f5. In time Black's queenside is going to fall so the short term goal should probably be to prevent Black from exchanging his bad pieces for your good ones.
You need to ask yourself....what is white's key square after RxB ?....and no, it's not 7. Nxg6?? (that's a howler !)
That's what Tal used to analyze every day....a computer....now turn that stoopit thing off and think !
That's it - I'm done. Next hint ?....Wednesday at 10am ast.
The sideline of #28 is what I saw in my calculations. Plus some jokes based on Bxc7 Rc8 that lead nowhere (pin down the c file, and/or not enough material on the line).
'Cuz the Kn @ e5 stands tall. And Nxg6 serves no purpose....yet.
Remember white's #1 key square (right now) is d6....and so, 7. Rc1.
Yes, Rac1 ()....and now 8. Qc4. See how Nxg6 is about to become a wonderful threat - just a bit too soon ?
So, what did we get for a 2-point bishop that was in the way anywayz ?....A black rook w/out any armor, very active white pieces, a front & center foot soldier about to say hello to the enemy, a big strong pony, and best of all ?....the precious initiative........and now ?....white is winning.
Happy 4th of July everyone !....talk w/ u after....come back with all 10 digits........Lola
