How To Grind

You play like a god
When in doubt, offer a draw when losing and improve your worst piece
When I’m losing and I offer a draw I usually win lol
B1ZMark, you said you went from 1600s range to 2000+ in 12 months.
What did you do to achieve this may I ask?
Asking for entirely selfish reasons, obviously. :)
What do you think was the most crucial area to improve in to climb up the rating ladder so quickly?
For beginners trying to reach an intermediate elo rating, say 1300-1600, I often here that tactics puzzles is the main priority, as opposed to studying endgames or opening theory.
This worked well for me thus far, can the same be said for you at your considerably more impressive rating?
Or do you delve more into studying openings, endgames and the like?

imo I just did some endgame study - nothing too crazy. I could probably find the winning idea in a lucena - if you give me like ten minutes. Same with the philidor. And I know that the vancura position is a thing, but I don't even remember where the pieces have to be. So basically: not much endgame. Just playing endgame by principle.
I did study lots of middlegames, played lots of different openings. Got lots of experiences with different pawn structures, common plans, etc. I studied openings a lot but not to memorize lines - I still don't really know any more exchange alekhine theory than what I knew a year ago.

I don't understand how to study pawn structure though. I feel like I know everything, but I can't calculate everything and sometimes I overlook the most simple things.

this is cool and all but i still can't have sexual intercourse with my wife..
bruh -_- was that even nessescary?

Y'all improve so fast.
No, just B1Z and @steven-odonoghue
Lol
B1ZMARK and I have improved faster than anyone else Llamas seen, and what do we both have in common... Alekhines Defence and Czech Benoni.
Coincidence?

I think not.
Also, don't we both just play really offbeat openings lmao

My most recent game vs the Alekhine cough* cough*
(not good technique, but totally winning out of the opening)
Nice queen trap near the end.
