I have 400 elo and got 2 brilliant moves in the same game, is that good?

so I'm rated 400 elo and I made 2 brilliant moves in the same game and no it wasn't luck I new exactly why I made those moves and in review that was exactly why they were brilliant.

Anyways I know this isn't too uncommon as I've made 2 brilliant moves prior to this game but they were in separate games the first one I made at 300 elo against another 300 elo. the second I made at 250 elo against someone with 750 elo and this game I made 2 and possibly could have made more except my opponent resigned after I forked their queen, and they were 500 elo. (I won all of these games btw)
Basically I'm asking if this is really uncommon amongst low ELO players like me with 400 ELO or is it just a lucky find.

this is the game with the 2 brilliants ^

and this is the game where I made one brilliant against someone with 500 more ELO than me and one
and honestly in my opinion I played better in this game then I did in the first one but I had less brilliants
anyways pls lemme know what you think and if you have any tips for me to help my play pls lemme know it helps a ton.

thanks!

Hmm. I would guess that it is pretty uncommon for 300-400 rated players to get any brilliant moves on purpose. (Playing a deliberate sacrifice to get something particular back on a later move.)

However, the only way I can think of for you to get an actual answer to your question is to run Insights. It will review all of your games and tell you how many brilliant moves you have in total and also tell you what is typical for players at your rating level.

Great thing 😃😃 keep it up i am peak rating in rapid 2042 in my main account and I just got 6 brilliant moves till now

I think, considering how many blunders you made, the brilliant move are a combination of luck, bits of tactic and overall bad responses from your opponent...good sacrifice?- yes, good game?- not really, as your adversary literally missed captures...

I definitely don’t want to spoil you joy from the game but is obvious that this “brilliancy thing “ in game review is getting more and more inflated.

@justbefair, how do you run imsights?

Avatar of SomeRandomBoiiiii

And on both of them they ended up resigning so that was a noice move there. Don't rely on me tho im in that 1000 elo range

You need premium membership, but once you do, go to Stats -> Insights.

As for whether 2 brilliants are good, it depends on whether you knew why they were good at the time of playing them. At low levels, there are a lot of "blunders" which just happen to be good moves.
