inserting game

i was going to put a game analysis up here but i can't figure out how to put the chess board on here with my game. any advice?

Well, for starters, mouse over the chessboard on top of the box where you type text on the left.  As you leave your mouse there a second, you'll note the words "insert position or game" pop-up.  If you cant figure it out from there, ask again, but sounds like you missed the icon in the first place.  

i did notice that and that would work i think. i was hoping to download a game i played onto the forum though. it seems that if i want to use the chess board icon then i would have to input each move that was made on the game in question. if thats the only way then thats ok i just was hoping for a copy and paste scenario. with the ability for those reading to click forward and back moves. thanks for replying 

Bit annoying that your asking for help without even trying to figure it out, even after I told you how to get started.  Its very easy, provided you do it from a computer not a phone.  You click the icon we discussed, select the third option, to insert a full game, then get the choice to copy paste the pgn into a box.  That puts the whole game in their.  You can get the pgn after you finish a chess game or when looking at a game in your history - chose the get pgn option.  The whole process takes 30-60 seconds.  

I understand that you may not be familiar with the pgn, or how to get it, and if you need additional help thats fine.  But come on, try, dont assume you cant do it.
