well.. there must be a way.. i tried Rf8 it fails,,,, i m serching other optins right now
Is there a way to avoid mate?
Hello.
I'm happy that this problem interests someone ^^
I checked Bd6-Qxh6-Rh8, and as far as i check it it seems to always lead to a mate... However, there are some many variation that i may eventually missed one.
(Main line : Bd6 2. Qxh6 Rh8 3. Bf5+ Kf7!? 4. Qxd6 Rhe8 5. Bxc5 Qxc5 (forced) 6. Qxc5 (Mate in 10)).
lol... HOW do u evaluate.. do you use an engine?
Now i see that Rh8 fails in every line.. maybe there is no need for an f5+.(as stated by ivandh..)
I have evaluated quite many positions... but am coming up with no + result for black...maybe because I am doing it manually.
Is this one of your games? I am still tracking..
Hello.
This is an interesting position i reached. The game seems to be won for white, however, i am wondering if there is any way to avoid the mate here?
I searched a lot of variation for both players with chess engine but it seems like there is not any way to defend the black king for long. (1 Bd6 seems to already lead to mate, but i cannot find better move...).
Do you think there is a better defense for black here?
