I've reached 1000 rating

After doing training stuff, including revising Levy Rozman's educational content, training tactics, endgames, London System and general chess understanding, on a win streak I'm flying up through 900s and there is only one game remaining. And I blundered a Queen in a completely winning position Just a dummy one-move blunder.
So, after that I tried to comeback, lost one and won two. Do you know what? 
999. NINE NINE NINE. One point remaining.
Probably some part of me wanted to throw my computer trough the window (I'm not sure, but I was really angry with me and with the fact that I started lacking concentration).
Then I lost a game to a one very suspicious player with 98.5% accuracy , and, finally, I've done it.
I decided to play Caro-Can't defence (cause it's the only opening I know )

I literally forced my opponent to trade queens, but he declined it and blundered a rook. Than he blundered a queen, and after that, instantly, IT WAS ME WHO BLUNDERED A QUEEN.
Fortunately, neither me nor my opponent saw it. I noticed it only when I showed the game to my father and he told me that and made a bit of fun of me I was really embarrassed  

So, now I really want to reach the 2000 level of understanding chess, so I'll keep practice with books, videos, and working with masters.

Congrats on 1k I remember when i was at your level i kept revising levys Vids and they really helped i learned tons of new openings and hes the reason i have gotten better quickly.Also lol What are even the chances of getting 999 LOL Congrats and i hope ya have a good day

Always check your intended move is no blunder before you play it. This little mental discipline is enough to get you to 1500. As long as you hang pieces, pawns and even queens, all the rest is in vain.

I am 450 and have beaten a 1600 🤔

A rating of 1000 is a sign of frequent blunders.
Always check your intended move is no blunder before you play it.
This little mental discipline alone will get you to 1500.
As long as you hang pieces and pawns all study is in vain.

Nice achievement!  I hit 1000 not too long ago.  I'm now working on some new openings for fear of being overly one-dimensional.  

Grats!!! That's nice. But I prefer a bit different approach: I've chosen one opening for white (london system) and two for black (Caro-Kann vs e4 and something against other white's setups, I don't now yet btw ), so I can focus on the general chess understanding, especially endgames and strategy. The thing is I don't want to just memorize moves, no, I do want to understand their purpose. 

@NomadRussian congrats on hitting 1100. I reached 1000 recently and 1100 is my new target now.

Thanks! I feel that it's much tougher to reach 1100 than 1000 (just for me), because people play better and better, so what I feel - 1100 make less 1-move blunders and it's already more difficult to attack them.
