White is usually at a disadvantage in real terms in the sharp Sicilian variations. I play my very own Sicilian which below master strength scores well. Dave Tebb beat me in it but he played very well and as a result I altered my play as black from then on, A rather famous GM beat me but I had a winning position. He showed me later.

Yes, but then Black doesn't get his memorized "Poisoned Pawn" trappy lines, and White STILL has a perfectly good game.
