me vs magnus age 10
well now I do because I have analyzed the game with stockfish so I know exactly where I went wrong. Did you want to see my analysis and my thought process or something?

Yes please. Part of improving is posting your own analysis first. That way others get an idea of yout thought process. And what i mean by "your own" is...well..your own thought process. Not wat an egine says, etc.
Just wanted to say, you played a pretty good game! How many crowns did you get? And what colour?
My goal is to one day beat Age 10. Have you ever?
My humble thought is that 16. Qxb7 let black improve his queenside, but I'm not as strong as you, so take it with gloves.
I'm not sure what crowns are. I was white in that game. I've only played magnus age 10 two times and I lost both times sadly Qxb7 may have not been the best move but I believe my move h3 was much worse to begin with. I should have never given away my b pawn.
Well played opening and middle game, at least by 1400 standards. I see you are rated 2000.
You seem to have lost the endgame because:
1. You dismantled your own bishop pawn fortress to merely harass the black rook. You should have kept the bishop there to capture the new queen.
2. Your rook gave unnecessary checks to the black king. Going after the h pawn was good. Maybe some harassment was needed to get a second pawn. But you gave Black extra tempo, when each check brought the black king closer.
3. Your king could have defended your c pawn. Or your king could have played peakaboo on c2 and b2 with the black rook and tried to guard Bc1.
Had you used those strategies, you probably could have gotten a draw.
@chesserroo2 My standard rating is only that high because back in 2014 some time when I used to be a 1700 chess.com gave everyone in standard time controls rating points. The higher your rating, the more points you got. So I went from being a 1700 player to a 2000 player. I actually quit playing chess in 2015 but recently started playing again about 2 months ago. BTW thanks for the tips, I will use them
If I think the moves for some time I can beat Magnus 10, I have draw against Magnus 11 but I have never won against magnus 12, I dont like to play against machines, the app is fun at first but after a couple of games is just another crazy machine, its fun to play against humans but is not that fun to play against a computer
Pretty good game, doubt if I could do better. The only thing I can think of is Black's passed pawn on the d file. I think moving the Rook down to a3 to attack at move 32 might have helped, following with Rd3. Black would likely check with his Rook Rb1+ but you could move Kf2 to escape. Then after a series of pawn trades at e4, you'd have his pawn, Rxd4. It would set up an interesting clash of pieces in that area, if nothing else.
Instead of 11. b4 I would've played h3 then gone for Rb1 b4. Not sure if its good though just my intuition.
A game i played against Magnus on the play Magnus app. If anyone could give pointers of what i did wrong, it would be greatly appreciated I'm thinking I could of played the middle game better and I definitely messed up the endgame big time.
