Danny hasn't commented on this thread in years. I doubt that anyone even looks at these games. Someone should probably take down this thread.

i didn’t see that my opponent had a chance to balance out the game near the end but neither did he! Other than that though it was a very tricky game.
someone noticed the bag in H4 H5 ... I'm losing at least 3 games. you want to fix it‼ ️ "software per DILETTANT"‼️
I'm new to chess, started taking lessons a couple months ago and in this game (I know it's against a bot ) it was the first time that I felt that I'm really improving.
I know it's a completely begginers game compared to what I've seen in this forum, but wanted to know what u guys think and if u have any improvement tips.
PS. In the end I was just showing off cause I had already lost like 20 times to Beth Harmon lol, but I think that the bishop gambit and my midgame were the highlight of this match.
Let me know what u think!
I was playing blacks.
only 1 point. never sacrifice your pieces (for here bishop for two pawns) unless you see a long term tactic that will may benefit you after some moves. otherwise you'll be down a piece and may be lose the game.

Ok. 7. Bb4 loses a tempo (time), because it is easily forced to retreat by 8. c3. Therefore, white gets a free move there (c3). 9. Bxb4 is a blunder, because you traded a bishop (3 points) for a pawn (1 point) with no foreseeable positional advantage. It's especially bad because the queens are off the board, which means that you are closer to a losing endgame. 13. Na6 is a mistake, because your knight can be trapped there if white plays a3. 14. g6 is questionable, because it weakens your kingside. 24. Nb5 was a blunder because you could have won a piece there with NxBf3. 25. c5 doesn't accomplish anything, because white's rook can still capture the pawn. Therefore, it's a wasted move (loss of tempo), 31. Rd8 was a blunder, because you had NxRc4, winning a free rook (and the game). I stopped analyzing after that move, because I was too disgusted. You should work on your tactics a lot. Do the free Tactics Trainers and Puzzle Rushes on here, each day. Also, you should buy a book on basic chess principles (which includes chapters on tempo/time, space, power, piece development, king safety, basic tactical themes, etc.).
