this was an online chess game but we were in the midst of a head to head battle because we were both online. That is still no excuse for missing that!!!

Instead of 40...Qxh2, perhaps best is 40...Qd1+ 41.Kh2 Qxa4+ 42.Kb1 Qxe4+ 43.Ka1 Qa4+ 44.Kb1 Qd1+ 45.Ka2 Qd5+ 46.Ka1 Qf5 and Black should win this endgame.

I am sorry billwall, my one mistake making this board is on the white A pawn. It was actually at a3.

Ok, if the white pawn is on a3, then perhaps best for Black is 40...Qd3+ 41.Ka2 Qc4+ 42.Ka1 Qxe4 43.Qf8+ Kg5 44.Qd8+ Kh5 45.Qxa5 Qh1+ 46.Ka2 Qd5+ 47.Ka1 h6 and Black is better and perhaps can still win.
