1. Round OTB Open, I didnt play very well. Please let me know your thoughts about the game and where i could have played better. I tried to make a list of mistakes:

  • out of book on second move
  • missed candidate moves
  • missjudging the loss of castling right
  • missjudging development vs bishop pair (dynamic vs static) well i havent really more development.. so next point:
  • didnt analyse the positions proberly, false assumptions and wishes  without checking the reality.

Do you agree? Where was the critical point/s in the game? Please no +0,3452 suggestions.  I will ask my friend Fritz next.

29. ... c4! and your pretty much ok with the light bishop locked out, one of white's rooks out of position and your own rooks able to come over and help.  It looks crappy at first blush, but its actually very much a chess game.

In general, I think you squandered too many moves rearranging your queen, bishop, moving your king, planning to open the center in the future and never did it.  Fritz will point out a bunch of occassions when you could have actually done it and been better off.  You were aware that was your goal, you just didnt sufficiently prioritize it and think about the tactics associated with actually doing it.
