Soooo….

i just played a 3-min Blitz games on chess.com, where i brutally punished my opponent for playing the damiano’s Defense (credit to Gotham chess for teaching me) where i sacked my knight for a brilliant move. However, when i looked at the game review at the stats summary (no. Brilliants, great, best etc.) but it didn’t say i had made any brilliant moves??? I tried refreshing but still no effect. Is the app bugging? Am i just bad?? Please give some answers.

Confusion???

the app’s probably bugging. some similar bugs have happened to me. for example it once said i had 2 brilliants later on that day i wanted to show somebody but suddenly it said 0 brilliants even tho it was the same game.

The brilliant determination also takes into account players ratings, so it's possible for a food sacrifice to not be classified as Brilliant. Also, if you're completely winning before finding the move, it won't be classified as Brilliant either.
