Another game against the same, stronger player. I played well, I think, in this one, until the endgame, in which I made some dubious errors, and then resigned.

There were 4 blunders in this game as far as I can tell. I'm looking at the game without the aid of the computer so my analysis might be horribly flawed.

9 ... Nxf2 simply loses a piece for black without enough compensation. With proper play, white should win.

17 Nxg4 gives the piece right back. Instead Be5 first followed by Nxg4 preserves a nice advantage for white.

21 Qxf4 is another mistake. Better would be 21 Rxf4 Qg7 where white has the option to trade into a likely drawn king and pawn endgame, or exchange rooks and go into an unclear queen endgame that might slightly favor white.

25 h3 was the decisive mistake. Instead, Kf2 grabs long opposition allowing white to hang onto f4 at least for the time being.  Black's eventual h7-h5-h4 plan might still win the day but Kf2 is white's most resiliant try.

25 Kg3 isn't working because after ...Kf5 white will need to find more waiting moves than black and that doesn't seem possible. 26 a3 a6 27 c4 bxc4 28 dxc4 c5 29 c3 c6 and white is out of moves. Any king move loses the f pawn and the game, and any pawn move loses the pawn and the game.
