Yes, Qb6 is a bit pointless if not followed up, with Qxb2 or Nc6 to try and decentralise Nd4. Just gets in way of queen-side counterplay with b5 etc. 11...e5 didn't look good, chould consider immediate 12Nf5 too. What you played worked out nicely, 17Nd5 was possible too.

Well played on both sides -- very accurate in the end I think. You were inaccurate at the crucial moment though, just a question of move order, but what a difference... it could have cost you the win:
