Super cool! That checkmate pattern is called "smothered mate" and is one of my favorites. In similar situations, one can also get a smothered checkmate from a different pattern involving a Queen sacrifice like this game of mine:

This is a very similar checkmate pattern, but a different checkmate. I think what you are describing is called "Suffocation Mate."
