the IMPOSSIBLE position
Hum... this one is actually possible, macer75. White plays Ng1-f3-e5-g6xf8 and back while Black just plays Ng8-f6-g8 etc.
Black to move, it would be impossible.
And another one, in a different style. Edited twice, I have really great talent...
Why isn't that one possible? White's last move was g5-g6+ and Black's was Kh7-h8
oops, indeed.
edited to get rid of that problem. (there was no pawn on g5 before).
irontiger I think that one is impossible, I can't see blacks last move (sorry if im being stupid its late, 1am (late for me D:))

Yeah, that's the idea. Before editing, there were no pawn on g5, so you could achieve it by mashanator's line.
Well, I implicitely supposed that Black has still the right to castle of course, as it is precised in the fen string
(good point)
