The potential racial implication of what piece goes first.

Why is it that the white piece goes first and black goes second, why was it not made the other way. And another question, why are the pieces white and black originally, why not orange and blue. I know it sounds stupid when I say this out loud, it's meant to be a checkerboard, but why make white go first instead of black. It makes no difference, just a change of turn, the openings stay the same. I think I might have started canceling culture for chess. I don't believe personally that the creator was racist, just the majority of people who made the general rules made a rule that sounds racist. We don't need to change the rule, just acknowledge its implications. Made by a chess enthusiast.
