Nope.
Three pieces for a queen? Was it worth it?
Thank you both for your replies. They really help me harden my own analysis! I thought it was a mistake right after I was finished executing it. Perhaps I'll try downloading a free game analyzer for games like these! Thanks again.

After black takes the rook, he will have a bishop developed, so he can then castle, gaining tempo and protecting his king - which nullifies any advantage the queen would give over the minor pieces. So black will be ahead in development, tempo, and point value. No, I don't think this is a fair trade.
On an related note, Rybka evaluates this position as -1.72, so black has slightly less advantage than the two 'points' the piece exchange was worth, but is still leading considerably.
I recently played a game in which I saced three pieces for a queen. In the end I won the game, but that was because of a, what one could call, blunder. So please, by what you see, do you think it was worth it? I know the three piece amount to more points, but I hear it can be ok to do during midgame strategy. Any other analysis is welcome.
