Two Knight Opening

Used a two knight opening, what would be the next move for black at this stage? Would I have been mistaken to do Pf6.

I don't know how I could have better positioned my queen to parry Ng5. I am also thinking I should have moved Pe5 instead. Thank you community.

That I understand. But for example's sake, the moves I suggested above, could you briefly offer, in your opinion, the errors with each? I greatly appreciate your help mate.
