piravi: When I put this game into an engine, it doesn't have white has having a bad position up until f3. Before f3, it has both sides as being equal.
We need more amateurs to post their annotated games.
@inmaniac: maybe, i don't know. i thought i had a good positon with a strong knight in the centre. i thought white would struggle to drive away the knight from the centre and that i can build around it (I am not as good as the engine though)

in this game I didn't follow any theoretic line, in the last week, i recolected all the openings I played against and tried to find 2-3 mobves in advance...of course I can't play so many games to cover everything, so as the GM's say becomes a jungle pretty soon or the amateur. So, I started to play pushing pawns forward like in a pawn war mini game and at first interact with my oponnent plans, and when the ocassion works try to get advantage.
In the end, I ended up with the bishop pair + a rook.
Hope you like it

2.d3 is not a good move. After d takes e, white loses his advantage.
If he captures back with the pawn, you can take his queen. He will have to recapture with his king, resulting in a king stuck in the middle of the board (castling is not allowed anymore).
In any other continuation, white will be just a pawn down.
(Interesting detail: I put this position in rybka, and with best play from white, it will be game over after 57 moves )

Thanks for your comment. In future I will go for the pawn Queen exchange straight away if this crops up. Still working on my openings, really appreciate any tips, thanks.

Here's a great guide to posting your games by BadGambit http://www.chess.com/forum/view/help-support/a-guide-to-posting-your-games-on-chesscom

Any comments on this game then. I hope I have given a bit of thinking into my moves. I was black and lost. I also have shown some alternative moves that were considered.

jetfighter13 here is my analysis although others may think a bit different. I think your opponents move on 12 b5 is a bad move. It weakens the pawn structure on that side. It does attack your queen but there is nothing backing it up, enabling you eventually to gain a pawn.
As noted I think some of his king side pawn moves made little sense. 18 g6 and 19 f5 leaves the king exposed.
Overall I don't understand why your opponent just traded the rook when he was down in material.
i will soon!
