What did I do wrong and right?

Could someone tell me what I did right and wrong in this game? I won this game pretty quickly on yahoo chess. I am very new to the "correct" way of playing and was just wondering how I can improve. I was white by the way and took this game in 13 moves.
I have no idea how to set up a board like you guys do but the moves were:1. e2-e4 e7-e5
