Your error is in thinking that anybody is going to spend an hour or more going through 9 games for fun.

There are many coaches on the coaches page who will be happy to go through 9 of your games and give you thoughts about where you do well and where you need to improve.

For those who want to offer you a sample. here is game 1.

To me, it looks like you did quite well and were clearly winning until you gave up your queen for no reason I could see.

Guilax

Obviously if I post 9 games it's not because I expect an in-depth analysis of all of them. I just wanted a general comment on my style. The errors are secondary.

Thanks for the coach page, but your rude comment was not necessary.

How do you expect anybody to give you a comment on your style unless they take the time to go through the games? I have never seen anybody post 9 games for review. And you don't even take the time to post the games properly, so that people can just play through them...

/ Please come over and paint my house. I am wondering how it would look.

Guilax

Hey, if you do not want to help, there's no problem. Nobody forces you to anything here. I repeat that I do not expect analysis of the 9 games. I just hoped that someone would look at 2 or 3 and give a general opinion. If it's wrong, I have no problem in putting it another way. But I expect comments in a chess community that are more friendly than yours. See you.

Just trying to give you helpful pointers so that the next time you make a post, you think a little bit more about the people you are asking to do free work for you...

Ok. No prob.

Blundering.

All that valuable info for free!

Now you know what you need to work on.

IMKeto

Game 4: You completed 42 moves in 5 days. Moving to fast.  Won due to a blunders.

Game 5: You completed 39 moves in 30 days. You took your time.  Won due to a blunders.

See the common theme here?

Why is it that people seem to believe allegations of rudeness are not themselves rude?

Why are you alleging allegations of alleged rudeness?

Oh no. This could be infinite. Is it rude to be rude to someone rude? hahaha

I looked at two games, a win and a loss. You seemed quite attacking and you like open games, but didn’t always look far enough ahead.

This question is asked...A LOT.  Beginner, and low rated layers love to think themselves "aggressive/tactical"  I'm not saying this is you, I'm pointing out the usual with these types of posts.  But to give you an honest answer to your question.

Why are you trying to figure out your "style" when you're not following opening principles, missing simple tactics, and hanging material.  Those are the basics.  Now lets add on, not understanding pawn structure, piece placement, and how to formulate a middlegame plan.

You can hope...wish...pray...etc. to be the most tactical...aggressive...positional...strategic...quiet...well balanced, etc. type of player.  But if you're not learning to grow past the basics, its not going to matter.

Guilax

Thanks for your honest answer. I suspected that. That's why I started asking if the beginners had style or not. It's true, I think I'll focus on improving those aspects you tell me before looking for a style.

Although of all the defects that you mention, I believe that I always follow principles of openness haha. Even though it may not make much difference to what you say.

And my thanks to you for being understanding, and realizing i wasn't being insulting.  All any of us can do is try and make our mistakes as small as possible.  Good Luck to you!

Don't bother with finding your style. That's the best way not to improve.

Chess has no style , today's chess more than ever.

There are only 2 styles: Correct chess and wrong chess.

Be ready to play as the position demands. You will encounter tough defensive players , you will need to be patient and organise your attack carefully. In some cases playing positionally might be the best. You will encounter reckless players that throw everything i the attack.Either carefully planned defense and exploitation of the weaknesses or counterattack if the king is weakened will be the remedy.

I can find you 50 more senarios but the whole point is :

A player of your level doesn't survive and doesn't improve if he has a "style". The next thing you will do is look for an opening that suits your style and soon you will become Don Quixote fighting a hopeless battle against windmills.

So my "honestly trying to help" advice that you might find rude too:

Stop asking the wrong questions because the answers are more harmless than useful.

Chess is about understanding. Improve your understanding and you will be able to play in any "style" you want.

Your answer is not rude. On the contrary, it has helped me a lot. Thanks for the response, I will try to follow the advice.

Don’t worry about your “style”. By style, I assume you mean attacker/defender, etc.
But every player has a small combination of all, and good players HAVE it all.
Consequently , there is no such thing as a “style”.
Thus you are asking the wrong question.
As for your rating, keep on improving and you may find things that you PREFER like attacking, positional play, etc.
Then that isn’t your style either.
It’s just what you prefer.
Since “style” is undefined, your question is not good.
Nonetheless, your games are quite interesting! (Whatever IMBacon has to say). Found them quite enjoyable. Keep on playing and improving!

There are no styles in chess. You make 30% best move or 40% or 50%...
