I think becuz its Just protected by queen, there's a line where the queen's knight can start a trade where you can lose both knight or do the b6 move, also the white bishops goes better pinning the knight than protecting... also once the knight goes to b6 what's the point of the bishop there? So is lost tempo too... but that's my pov. Hope it helps

Hello people, I have a question about a move I missed in my recent game. The sixth move I should have played here is Nb6, and it is very early period of a game. Engine says that this is the best move at this position, but I don't quite get why. Can somebody explain me why Nb6 is a good move here?
