Here's a hint to make it easier to figure it out on your own. See that "show lines" box, just under Moments and Analysis? I bet if you checked that and then worked out all of the lines, you could figure it out yourself.

Could somebody explain to me here why knight to G4 is a mistake, and why advancing the pawn to d4 was the right thing to do ?

You must mean Ng5. As the variation attempts to show, it drops a full piece.

Wow, thanks for the advice, so useful ! Unfortunately, "show the line" doesn't explain the principle behind it, and you easily get lost among all those lines. But thanks for taking the the time to write such a constructive comment, I guess your life is amazing !
I don't get how d4 frees space for my knight ? To me, it rather blocks one, no ?
