They will either ignore this comment and act as if they have better things to do than roam the chess.com forums, or they will comment THIS comment and then give some blunt opinion on either this discussion has no meaning and engines can't handle these types of positions or some blunt roasting of my ...O-O move (even though I agree ...Kd7 is a bit easier).

why people dont appreciate classical dutch much ? i mean is it because of alot of theory or something ? also people s go to choice is stonewall since its easy to play by hand

I got a brilliant move for castling in this one.  I haven't played in several days.  I almost lost on time.  had less than 2 seconds on my clock when I checkmated him.

KD7 to stop RC7, keep my king closer to the center and if anything I probably would end up wanting my king to keep closer to his queen pawns since I'd think they'd be annoying to protect and last I can always own the only open file. Don't let him get anything, once he goes RC7 even if he doesn't win a pawn you'll have to start playing passive moves and give him activity he doesn't need

I would definitely play Kd7 since its an endgame and I want my king active, also to stop him from getting the 7th rank but I'm also 1100 rapid =)  So that may be wrong.

I am looking at kq2 closer to the middle for the endgame.

I'd personally play Kd7 there. As a caro kahn player, I've had that position probably a couple of dozen times. If there was a queen or a pair of bishops on the board I'd maybe reconsider but seeing as there is no way for white to immediately double rooks down the open file, the king disallows any infiltration and is in no way in any danger. Plus, since you're nearing the end game it's just good to have the king more centralized. 

I also don't personally think it's a playstyle thing. Objectively, castling here is worse simply because it doesn't make your king any safer and it does in fact allow infiltration and a loss of a tempo trying to defend a pawn you could've defended with your king in one move. Yes, black is winning either way, however, why allow any counterplay whatsoever? So you could play that way, but intuitively, I'd think most high-rated players don't play that way because its like trying to disturb a sleeping dragon. One allowance of counterplay can lead to more and thats just...uge. I want to completley sap my opponent out of as much counterplay as possible to get a quicker resgination.

Now if there were 2 white knights and a bishop where they could harass your king, I'd castle. Kings should only come out when there are very few pieces. 2 enemy knights is not few enough in my experience. I lost many pawns coming out early.

This position looks tame.

Kd7 is what I prefer but O-O is more solid.
