I run this game in Fritz 12, and I loled.

3 ! moves and I got all 3 in live game. Not that bad.

I could find only 2 "!"... Exaggerator... Do you want to make me fear?

What I find interesting about French is that when white know all the moves it is very edgy game that can go both ways very fast. But at my lvl of chess knowledge and especially in 3 min live chess, If white does not respond accurate, it usually leads to crushing defeats for white.

As BK said, you can't lose with french. Maybe I should rename this topic to French live games.

Btw, did you know how many gears French tank have? 1 gear forward and 4 reverse.

I wish I could play at that strength in 3 min games...

My love for The French Defence goes back to when I started playing chess. I found Keres, The French Game, in a old book's shop. My first club game was a French Exchange - which I lost. I was totally exhausted after one hours of play, not being used to long clock games.

I can lose with anything, even the French. BTW, in the 3rd game above, Black's 8th move, Bxc5, is "??" (exercise left for the reader).

Why is Bxc5??
