I used to play the Tennison myself but prefer the Blackmar Diemer gambit against the Scandinavian, especially because it's related to the Alapin Diemer French I doing well with as well as the Maroczy/fantasy Caro Kann which everyone's evading
these days, I see more and more players going back to the Tennison and have taken some losses in it because I haven't studied it so this quick win was very satisfying
