Never lose hope in low-level Blitz!
I can understand experiencing a feeling of relief at taking the draw but would have a hard time rolling on the floor laughing if I were getting massacred the way you were in that game.
U1600 blitz.. it's a strugle every move... almost painfull to watch.. not particular this one.
It's easy to improve at that level, just re-check / re-learn the very basic stuff and study some endgames or tactics better and there you go.. 1800 . much better.
How did white's time run out if white made the last move, that would mean he ran out of time while your clock was still running.

Nobody's clock ran out. Black (OP) was about to get mated and was also down to almost no time left when white took pity on him and accepted his ridiculous draw offer.
oh white just stalemated black. Nice, he was probably smashing his keyboard after that lmao
You're right.

You're right. I missed it.
Well, I don't see any massacre, but you should not give up, that's right, especially in blitz or fast time controls.
Resigning a blitz game against an equal opponent is kind of ridiculous unless you spot M1. You don't get bonus points for being the nice guy who accepts defeat (take it from Naka). I sigh with relief when my opponent resigns after blundering their queen, because I know that I'm a fallible person who sometimes makes insane blunders too, and because I know their winning/drawing chances have become 0%.
