How could you LIKE the IQP?
OTB Chess Tournament
IQP is probably one of the most important structures to know something about. It's easy to lose games and not know why on either side of them.
Here's a really cool study on an IQP endgame:

@harvey, Larceny, and please_let_me_win: Thanks!
@Titan, nice article! I had only learned how to attack an iqp, and not how to utilize it.

BDG Game:
8.Bc4 is not the mainline in the Teichman Defense, the bishop doesn't have future in c4, it never goes there in that defense.
The usual line have 8.Ne5, making possible a future Qf3, Bd3 and O-O or another plan with Bg2 and h4-h5.

After a long break from OTB chess, (my last tournament was in September) I decided to enter a 4 round, G60/5 second delay tournament.
The strong competition included 2 masters, 3 experts, and 4 class A players.
Round 1 I recieved the short end of the pairings stick, recieving black against an NM. He had a chance to capitalize on one of my opening mistakes, but missed the opportunity.
Round 2 I faced a strong player who had beaten me twice in previous tournaments, one of which cost me as it was the money round. Unfortunately, I do not have the full game as it ended in a time scramble
Third round:
Round 4: The the tough pairings continue!
All these games were played on the same day, so I was very tired when it ended. My final score was 3/4, tying for second place with 2 masters and a class A player. Good company! First place went to a dedicated expert who made the trip from Ontario to the US and back again in the same day, thats stoicism for you!
Thanks for reading!
