Bill!
I haven't seen you in a while. What have you been up to?
I think on move 12 or 13, Bb3 would be good, it would allow you to meet d5 with , then f4.
Edit: you had the board upsidedown and are playing black in this game
for you, I would have suggested trying to trade off bishops before pushing your central pawns.
Tonightonly - haven't gone anywhere. Almost here every day for the past year - almost 800 games here from blitz, quick, long and regular chess since Jan 1, so playing more and writing less.
Lastwarrior - Not upside down. I prefer the White pieces on the bottom, even if I have Black. I am used to that way of looking at a game.

I probably had an earlier win, then a draw, then a loss, then a draw again, and finally a win in the endgame.
As long as you have a win in the endgame.
Yes, 7...g6 seems to miss the point, but you definitely escaped with advantage. 13.h3 was clearly an innacuracy. It is amazing that the two central pawns ended up being the deciding factor so late in the game.
There is not really much I can say. I like reading your move lists because you include pretty much everything.

Yes, well I come here for the puzzle and game analysis discussions, in the forums mostly. In this area, I have missed your presence. I don't mean to make you feel bad, but I enjoy posts like the OP and learn a lot from them.
I recently played Board One in a match of U.S. Veterans vs. China and had a very tough game (must have got dis-oriented). I probably had an earlier win, then a draw, then a loss, then a draw again, and finally a win in the endgame. There were lots of choices and lots of ways to go wrong for both sides in this Sicilian Defense, Sozin, Leonhardt variation. I chose a poor opening defense but got two central pawns, then I sacrificed a piece, allowed my opponent to queen a pawn, went into a Queen and Bishop vs Queen and Rook endgame, then simplified to a Queen and pawns endgame which I barely won. Perhaps you can find better moves for both sides.
