It’s surprising how many people don’t know that engines of a certain Elo are much weaker than their human counterparts. This is because, until maybe 3000 Elo, the mistakes they make are random and more obvious. Hope that explains it. Nice job beating Wally!

Yeah I sorta sussed that the Elo is definitely not correct as the computer app I have goes all the way up to silly Elo numbers and I can still hammer it. No, my problem is I struggle against complete newbies. The harder the opponent, they better I play. I can guess what a good opponent will do but when I play against a human, there are no easy games, I struggle against them all lol. For 10 years all I've done is play as white against computers and I can beat most of them even at the higher levels - once I play a human, it's like I've never played chess before haha. Oh well, I suppose I'll play more on here and hopefully adapt.
Punished his 2 mistakes. I don't get it. I can beat the computer no problems at up to 2000 Elo but I struggle against beginner human players?!? What gives?!!
