Tarrasch Defense w/KS Attack

If there was one single opening I wish I was an expert at it would be the Tarrasch.  It almost seems like you have to mate your opponents in brilliant fashion every game because of the IQP psychological pressure.  :)  And, not to mention, it's a favorite of Kasparov's!  Well, maybe Gary would approve of how I handled the black pieces this game.

21. I agree that my queen moves wasted too much time and eventually lost the game.

29. was to blind to see this because of your attack and it was only a 10 min game

I felt i had some good chances in the first part of the game but in the second i was very passive and made wrong moves trying to defend.

Thanks for your analysis and congrats for your win.

Nice analysis and explanation of the moves. It is clear you had a strategy for the WHOLE game when it began. I need to learn more about openings. Nice Kingside attack and sacrifice! Have a nice day :)

Is there something to be said about an alternative move for 6... being c4 instead of Nf6 or 5... being Nf6 instead of Nc6? I am thinking that with the isolated queen pawn, you would in principle have the theme of extra SPACE, and you want to keep pieces with extra space, so allowing your opponent to Bb5 your Nc6 knight  is theoretically opening up the possibility of Bxc6, but I think playing sa as to avoid exchanges with the isolated queen pawn would be worthy of trying.

Hello and thanks for the comments. There is a critical line involving the move c4 by black. I'm not sure which move it is commonly played but 6.Nf6 is the main line (I hope lol). I read recently that there is a new book out on this defense and it goes into great detail about the c4 line. As of now though I want to improve in the main lines but might try it out one day. Thx again!

6.c4 is the Swedish variation. It is very sharp and somewhat dubious, according to Wikipedia (I have not played the line).
