Tier list of world-class chess players

Explanation:
 Claude Bloodgood:
No explanation needed, this man was so talented he got to 2789 in prison starting in the 1600s. Even though he didn't have the time to break Kasparov's rating record, he was undeniably a super genius, and the only verified example of an older adult picking up chess and getting elite level performance. To add points, he didn't even have any formal coaching! Quite simply, he was an outlier among outliers.

Magnus Carlsen: the current world champion, undisputedly the best player in the world and 2nd-3rd best of all time (behind Bloodgood and maybe Kasparov)

Garry Kasparov:
the world champion in the era before Magnus. At one time undisputedly the best in the world.

Gukesh: the world champion, but not in the to 100, so B tier it is.

Hikaru: Used to be elite, but switched to content creation, so the quality of his chess has gone down.

don't forget Paul Morphy's peak elo of 2450. Even if that doesn't sound like a lot he got it in 1857 and the second best player was 300 points lower rated them him that's like if Magnus played a 2500 it would be a mismatch. Sadly he retired at just age 22 due to a lack of opponents. He literally quit because he was too good I would put him in A tier because of how advanced he was for his time.

Oh yeah, and we also have Samuel Reshevsky. He is on par with Carlsen.

I remember this picture. Of course, he is nowhere near Claude Bloodgood, but he is defintely talented in another way.
