10,000 RATING Possible?

depends if there are enough players..

 by a bizarre coincidence my fide rating is already 10,000--see home page (that is the foolish and idiotic democrats of europe rating of course )

chances 50 out of 100 it would take a long time

if you beat him on live chess on quick your chances will be 11 to 2018 and your rating will be 4000-5000

Unless Chess.com cap the rating then 10000 is possible, but it would be a bit like a pyramid scheme, a player rated 9999 would need at least one other player (that they could beat, would get one rating point for beating, and was willing to play them).
